Even though my in-home daycare blog has a TON of info: http://t.co/o2Z80p3, there are a couple things I left out. So here it is….here is HOW to go about finding a daycare provider:
1. ALWAYS ask trusted parent-friends FIRST about their in-home provider.
2. THEN search craigslist.org and search the community forum (top-left).
That’s it!!!!! Works like a charm….as long as you use common sense and go with your gut.
Another tip:
Find a provider that is convenient in location. I used to have my son at a daycare that was on my way to work, so it was nice. The only issue was my chiropractor and other places are by my house. I had to choose to either take my son with me (if he was awake and in a good mood) or drive all around town. Keep all of this in mind!
